Ch 4

“Then take me,” Elara thought, the words trembling but sure. “Show me what I am.”

Thalassa’s lips met hers.

The kiss was not like human kisses. It was deeper, slower, a fusion of breath and taste and salt. Thalassa’s tongue traced the seam of Elara’s lips, and when they parted, she slid inside, tasting her, learning her. Elara gasped, her hands gripping Thalassa’s shoulders, feeling the scales shift, the warmth intensify. The kiss went deeper, and with it came a flood of sensation: memories that weren’t hers, feelings that belonged to the ocean itself, a love that spanned tides and millennia. She tasted the deep. She felt claimed.

Thalassa pulled back just enough to speak. *Breathe with me.*

Elara closed her eyes. She let go of the human habit of holding air. She let her gills open, drew the water in, and felt it cycle through her, cool and clean. Thalassa mirrored her, and in that shared rhythm, a bond sealed. A mark appeared at the junction of Elara’s throat and collarbone: a spiral of iridescent scales, warm to the touch, pulsing in time with her heart.

The claiming was not complete.

Thalassa’s hand slid down, over Elara’s sternum, her navel, to rest low on her belly. Elara shivered. Thalassa’s fingers found her clit, already swollen, sensitive, aching for friction. She touched her, slow and deliberate, and Elara arched, her tail flicking once, twice, stirring the water into a gentle current. Thalassa’s touch was perfect. Knowing. She knew the shape of her, the rhythm of her, the places that made her gasp, the places that made her tremble. She stroked her, circling, pressing, and Elara’s back bowed, her hands gripping Thalassa’s arms, her gills fluttering rapidly.

“I can’t,” Elara thought, her mind fracturing with pleasure. “I’m not ready—”

*You are.* Thalassa’s voice was firm, grounding. *Let go. I will hold you.*

She didn’t just touch her. She entered her. Not with force, but with invitation. Her fingers slid inside Elara, slick with natural lubrication, warm and perfectly shaped. Elara cried out, her head falling back, her eyes squeezing shut. The sensation was overwhelming, a fullness that stretched her, that made her feel both exposed and complete. Thalassa moved her fingers in slow, rhythmic strokes, matching the pulse of Elara’s tail, the beat of her heart, the flow of the current.

Elara’s hands roamed Thalassa’s body, learning her. The hard plane of her chest, the dip of her waist, the powerful sweep of her tail. She pressed her lips to Thalassa’s neck, tasting salt and something sweet, like crushed seaweed and starlight. Thalassa responded with a low hum that vibrated through both their bodies, a sound that made the water around them shimmer.

“Thalassa,” Elara breathed, her mind-spoken word trembling. “Please.”

Thalassa’s hand moved lower, finding her futa form. It was slick, sensitive, already leaking. She cupped it, stroked it, and Elara’s knees buckled. Thalassa caught her, holding her close, their bodies pressed together in the cool water. Elara felt the hard ridge of Thalassa’s own arousal, the thickening flesh between her thighs, the way her body answered Elara’s touch with a quiet, powerful pulse. It was reciprocal. Equal.

*Give it to me,* Thalassa urged, her mind-voice a velvet command. *Let me feel you.*
